Winter – First Snow

I would like to show you the big new bed in the bottom of the garden. I have assembled a support construction from branches and sticks. I didn’t dig, just put a big, well decayed tree stump in the bottom. Then I have filled the bed with fresh horse manure, straw, some kitchen waste, more sticks and finally beech leaf litter collected from the floor.

This is the upper terrace under the wild cherry. The two beds constitute my garden expansion of 2012.
